"It’s a transformative experience to simply pause instead of immediately filling up space"
In this new Masterclass in our series aimed at helping people integrate and develop their NLP skills we will be exploring how coaching successfully with NLP is based on a modelling and on a mindfulness approach.
We will focus particularly on the so-called ‘stress response’ and how this helps us to hone in on particularly significant issues for a client’s personal and professional development.
- NLP Modelling tools to identify patterns and triggers for stress
- NLP-based Somatic Coaching approaches for healing and recovery
- NLP linguistic models to explore Cognitive Bias and distorted thinking
- Mindfulness practices for coaches and clients
- Holistic NLP for well being and personal evolution
NLP creates a practical approach to accelerated learning
NLP creates a practical approach to accelerated learning. It consists of the tools, skills and guiding principles that produce a verbal and a non-verbal language that describes and works with how people think and function, and how they build and change their ‘maps’ of reality.
NLP focuses on the relationship between these patterns of the inner subjective world and the impact and influence they create for a person on the more concrete and ‘real’ outer one.
This breakthrough behavioural technology allows someone to use NLP tools to develop and improve their performance and to enhance their choices in any given context.
Mindfulness is about bringing awareness, softness and openness to the present moment
Mindfulness is about bringing awareness, softness and openness to the present moment. It requires skill and commitment to wake ourselves up from our habitual patterns and self-serving cognitive biases.
Creating a sense of space and a stillness of mind also allows us to pay attention to more of the detail of our ‘maps’, meanings and triggers.
Noticing what happens and where we go when we get stuck and caught up is an essential part of our personal evolution.
Modelling with NLP takes mindfulness practice to new levels of subtle awareness
Modelling with NLP takes mindfulness practice to new levels of subtle awareness. Using basic tools relating to physiology, to linguistic patterns and to visual representations an NLP coach can help someone both understand and change how and why they are limiting their choices and sense of potential.
In NLP triggers and reactive patterns are known as ‘anchors’ or more accurately ‘negative anchors’. When these triggers are frequent and become disruptive to our normal equilibrium we tend to think of our experience of them as stressful.
However ‘stress’ is a process and has a structure that can be modelled. New more useful and meaningful maps which support our well being and basic sanity can be learned. Our inner worlds of ‘stress’ can be transformed.
Bringing leading edge coaching models together in practice – the somatic and the cognitive – to deal with stress and reactive patterns
Bringing leading edge coaching models together in practice – the somatic and the cognitive – to deal with stress and reactive patterns is a game changer in professional coaching. It requires more skill and flexibility from the coach but offers more depth and variety for the client, giving them life skills and multiple pathways for change.
At PPD Learning we have specialized in applied modelling with NLP and in many state-related techniques and change processes
At PPD Learning we have specialized in applied modelling with NLP and in many state -related techniques and change processes. Nearly 30 years ago we pioneered teaching modelling with NLP at the heart of our programmes and also in integrating more psycho-physical approaches like New Code NLP and more recently Somatic Syntax and Inner Game type practices.
This special one day training programme is offered to coaches, trainers, teachers and therapists and anyone who works one-to-one with clients and who wants to develop their own modelling and mindfulness practice.
